I consider myself to be an intuitive painter who enjoys creating dynamic landscapes and florals. My main goal is to depict the vibrancy of nature and atmosphere of place through my paintings. I began as a watercolorist, but I am presently enjoying the texture and variety that acrylic and collage have to offer. My acrylic and watercolour impressions are based on photos and plein air sketches. I have been inspired and instructed by artists at Sheridan College, Haliburton School of the Arts, Central Technical Art School, Neilson Park in Etobicoke, and Visual Arts Mississauga. Presently I am a member of Visual Arts Mississauga, Springbank Artists, Neilson Park Creative Art Centre and The Etobicoke Art Group. Visit my personal webpage at www.madente.com.
