Artist Bio
With a passion for colour and decor Cathy has always been creative. She began painting six years ago studying with Dermott McKeown and has been exploring various subject matter.
Cathy explores realism and abstract working in both acrylic and oil. Cathy paints what inspires her and believes art evokes emotion in both the artist and the viewer.
Cathy is a member of Visual Arts Mississauga and the newest member of the Springbank Artists Group. "I am so fortunate to be a part of this very talented group and to share their creative environment".

Hi all......just wanted to let you know that my cousin owns this art retreat north of Belleville. It is absolutely gorgeous and a great place to paint. If you know of any teachers looking for a spot to put on a class or if you want to go as a group sometime you would love it! I have been there the past two Septembers with a group and it is amazing.

Gail Brown & Linda VanWyk present Erinoakkids with a cheque for just under $1,000. The money was raised by The Springbank Artists during our March show through a slient auction of paintings donated by the artists.
